Hello! I'm a mother, wife, and lover of color, art and fashion. I also choose to wear the hijab. For me, wearing hijab (head covering) and dressing modestly isn't a form of oppression, but instead a way to express my individual personality and style in my own way. I've always had a fascination with fashion, however, after having kids I found myself in a rut, feeling frumpy. I decided that being a busy mother is NOT synonymous with being frumpy, and I had to get out of the t-shirts and sweatpanst!. This blog is my quest to rediscover my fashion sense, and reconnect with my old fashionista self.
